Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you join the Viral Toon waitlist, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Viral Toon is run by Appcelerator Studio (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at team@appcelerator.studio.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

• Your email address.
• The date and time you joined.
• Whether you signed up as a creator or as a brand or agency.
• Where you came from, if the link you used had a tag on it (for example ?utm_source=tiktok).
• A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We use it only to stop spam signups, and we can’t turn it back into your IP address.
• A personal invite code we create for you, and how many people have joined with it.
• If you joined through someone’s invite link, whose link it was, so we can move them up the list.

We don’t use cookies, ads or analytics trackers on this site.

Why we collect it

• To email you when early access opens and when Viral Toon launches.
• To keep the waitlist free of spam and automated signups.

We don’t sell your details and we don’t share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Our legal basis

We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box when you join. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing team@appcelerator.studio, and we’ll remove you from the list.

Where your details are stored

Waitlist details are stored with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in the European Union (Ireland).

Other services this site uses

This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles that.

What’s saved on your device

After you join, this site saves your email address, place in line and invite code in your browser’s local storage, so it remembers that you’ve already signed up and can show your latest place in line. Only the invite code is sent back to us, to look up your current place. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you ask us to delete them or until we close the waitlist, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. Email team@appcelerator.studio and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to join the waitlist.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
